Vigitron - Vi2516 - 16-Port MaxiiPower™ Managed af/at 72W PoE Midspan w/ UTP Extender (600W PS)

MaxiiPower Vi2516 midspan is a managed 16-port extended PoE midspan designed to meet the most demanding IP camera data and PoE requirements at extended distances. It is fully manageable and provides up to 36W per port, on all ports and 72W PoE on Ports 1-4 for high power applications such as PTZ cameras. The Vi2516 provides extended distance transmission over UTP using Vigitron's unique Symmetric Bandwidth (SBW) technology. With only a transceiver and no additional power source at the camera site, the Vi2516 can provide full 802.3.af, 802.3at on all ports to PoE cameras. It is fully transparent to the Ethernet network and higher-layer protocols and requires no IP setting or configurations. The PoE controller provides auto mode with no programming required.

The PoE is fully manageable by an easy-to-use Windows based GUI that can be accessed via direct connection to the USB port or remotely over network connections. It also operates in auto mode with no programming required. The standard accessory client software provides full security, discovery for all Vigitron Midspans’ set up and individual port monitoring. The built-in Ethernet extender technology simplifies the installation and lowers the cost of the system by eliminating the need for standard PoE midspans with far limited PoE power and protection capability. MaxiiPower midspans provide status LEDs to indicate power and transmission status to indicate potential problem areas. The PoE is fully manageable by an easy to use GUI that can be accessed via direct connection to the USB port or remotely over network connections.

The Vi2516 is 1 U hight installed in 19” racks. It is ideal for a wide range of CCTV or IT applications that require high power such as IP cameras, wireless access points or VoIP installed at extended distances.
